Allison Spears

Allison Spears is a 3L JD student at Wake Forest University. Allison was first exposed to the field of bioethics while studying neuroscience at the University of Kentucky,  Prior to attending Wake Forest, she worked as an emergency medicine scribe and served as a research assistant to Dr. James Geddes at the University of Kentucky, where she conducted research on spinal cord injury oxygenation. Outside of Awaken, Allison spent her 2L summer as a legal intern with the Air Force JAG Corps at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, is on the DVAC executive board, and serves as a project co-Coordinator for the Healthcare Advocacy Pro Bono Project.
