Jaren Butts
Jaren is a third-year law student at Wake Forest University School of Law. Jaren earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Crime Scene Investigations and a minor in Business. Jaren’s interest in bioethics stems from having seen several close relatives suffer from major health-related issues and enduring mistreatment or nontreatment from health practitioners. Jaren hopes to shed light on the importance of bioethics through the journal in the most creative ways possible. Jaren’s legal interests range from transactional law and health care law issues to intellectual property and cybersecurity. In her spare time, Jaren enjoys painting, writing poetry, playing with her puppy, traveling, and rewatching episodes from her favorite TV shows.
