Kristen Kovach
Kristen Kovach is a 3L from Charlotte, NC. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in Chemistry and East European Languages and Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received a Master of Science in Medical Physiology with a concentration in Bioethics from Case Western Reserve University. Kristen came to law school with the intent to merge her desire to help people with her love of science. She joined Awaken to help draw attention to the issues she witnessed firsthand in the medical field, such as disparities in treatment based on race, income, and gender. In addition to Awaken, Kristen is a member of the Journal of Business and Intellectual Property Law, the Membership Chair for the American Constitution Society, and a member of the Appellate Advocacy Clinic. In her free time, Kristen enjoys doing Pilates, learning new languages, and reading autobiographies.
