Nathalie Freeman

Nathalie Freeman is a 3L JD/MA Bioethics student at Wake Forest University. Nathalie was first exposed to the field of bioethics while studying Science, Technology and Society at Vassar College. While conducting fieldwork at Vassar Brothers Hospital and completing her senior thesis on the Ethics and Potential of Uterine Transplantation, Nathalie developed a passion for bioethics and the law. Prior to attending Wake Forest, she spent a year working at a behavioral health technology company in Manhattan, where her interest in health equity and technology deepened. Outside of Awaken, Nathalie spent her 1L summer as a Law Clerk for the Office of General Counsel at Penn Medicine, and is currently serving as a staff member on the Journal of Law and Policy and as Project Coordinator for the Healthcare Advocacy Pro Bono Project.
